Thailand plans to buy helicopters UH-60M Black Hawk

The Thai government has asked the United States with a request to purchase four helicopters, UH-60M «Black Hawk", 10 engines T700-GE-701D (8 fixed and 2 spares), provision of guarantees, spare parts and components, auxiliary equipment and training, provision of technical documentation, technical support from the U.S. government and contractor, and other related elements of logistic support.

The main contractors on the program selected the company "Sikorsky Aircraft" and "General Electric Aircraft."

BACKGROUND:
